MANDATORY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • Curriculum vitae: Standard European Format only, other formats will not be accepted (format available here).
  • All academic degrees or professional diplomas and academic transcripts. All documents have to be certified or notarized. Simple photocopies will NOT be accepted.
  • Academic transcript: an official document which states your course, subjects and results, completion date, graduation date and is signed. 3 years bachelor academic transcripts are required.
  • Draft thesis proposal, maximum 1-2 page(s): this document is to show the ability of the applicant to come up with a topic which is relevant to International Health and also his/her ability to write up a scientific work. That is why there is no need to write several. This thesis proposal does not have to be the last version of his/her master thesis proposal. He/she could always change the topic.
  • Motivation letter: your own composition stating why you would like to attend the programme and how this programme will help you in your work and career (1 page, A4 format). This letter should only contain your personal motivation for attending this programme, your professional goals, your personal career objectives and how this programme will help you achieve them.
  • 2 strongly convincing, confidential recommendation letters. Letters must be attached on the website independently by an academic and professional body.
  • English certificate: TOEFL or IELTS results (minimum requirement: TOEFL 550/213/79-80; IELTS 6.0), even for those who have carried out their studies in English.
  • Work certificate:
    • For category A applicant: covering at least 24 months (full time) of professional experience in the field of International Health in a low or middle-income country.
    • For category B applicant: covering at least 12 months (full time) of professional experience in the field of International Health.
  • School-leaving certificate = university entrance qualification: certificate awarded from the high school attended
  • 2 photographs.
  • A copy of your passport showing date & place of issue, expiration date and personal details (if you don’t have a passport, please insert a letter of declaration, signed by yourself, explaining that you will ask for it once you are selected).
