Call for Application 2011-2012: European Master of Science International Health Degree

Applications are now being accepted for the European Master of Science International Health Degree Programme 2011-12. Additionally, applications are being accepted for Erasmus Mundus scholarships for this programme (substantial scholarships are available for both non-EU and EU applicants).

If you are applying to both the programme and the Erasmus Mundus scholarships, the deadline for applications is 10 December 2010.

We also invite self-funded students and applicants with other scholarships to apply for the MSc programme.
If you are not seeking an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, you can apply to the MSc programme up to 28 February 2011.

This unique, one-year MSc programme is designed for professionals working in Global and International Health who wish to further their skills and help advance their careers. Students completing the degree learn to identify and critically analyse key factors shaping global health and the health and well-being of populations in low- and middle-income countries, as well as how to formulate effective and appropriate responses to complex health-related issues.

Participants have the advantage of specialising in one of five study tracks. Taught courses and research projects are offered by a range of well-established partner institutions that are recognised for their global and international health expertise. Moreover, participants benefit from the opportunity to experience different international educational and cultural settings.

Category A
You are a graduate student from a Third Country (all countries of the world excepted the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia).

You are graduate student from one of the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Turkey or the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

OR

You are a Third-country student who is/was resident and carry(ied) out your main activity for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in these countries.

You are an academic staff scholar enrolled in an EU partner institution and you propose to contribute to the joint programme within a third country partner institution
